Triglav, The Mighty Mountain Cloaked in the Frosty Mist

from Works Once Lost in the Winter by Heiðnir

lyrics

Alone you stand, watching over your lands from up high, from break of day till the awakening moon at night.

Through the cold winter months and warm welcome springs, old Goldhorn gives thanks to ye.

You the highest peak of the mountain range, mightiest mountain I hope will never change.

Triglav, many thanks to thee, for safe passage through your land as I travel to the top of your peak.

The trees do sway and twirl of your legend forever, the mighty buck, from whom your flowers grew from its blood.

"Neumno lovec iskali zaklad in ustrelil Zlatoroga, vendar je porabljeni svoje cvetje, ki mu je dal novo življenje.
(The foolish hunter sought treasure and shot Goldhorn, yet he consumed your flowers that gave him new life.)
Torej je lovec umorjen s slepega preskušanja rogovi Zlatoroga je, in tako je padel iz neprizanesljiva gora Triglav. Njegovo truplo počiva večnost v Vale pozabe. "
(So then the hunter was slain by Goldhorn's blinding horns, and so he fell from your unforgiving peak, Triglav. His corpse shall rest for eternity in the vale of oblivion.)

I bow to the mountain
Of the pagan ones
In the shadow of the peak
I am of the devil's sons.

Like the king's majesty
Rising above
Or The king's crown
Triglav's might thereof.

I look to the sky
To the birds who sing
Flying over Triglav
Riding the wind's wings.

(Lyrics by Spectre, except last three verses by Svjatoslav; spoken parts translated into Slovenian by Svjatoslav).
